Minsk holds rehearsal for Victory Day parade

The dress rehearsal for the military parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War was held near the Minsk Hero City monument on 2 May, BelTA learned.

More than 4,000 people will take part in the military parade. These are motorized riflemen, paratroopers, communication officers, cadets of the Military Academy, military faculties, cadets of the Academy of the Internal Affairs Ministry, border guards, employees of the Emergencies Ministry, OMON and the Investigative Committee. The parade will also feature students of the Suvorov school and cadet schools. Military from the friendly countries will also take part in the parade.

Retro vehicles will be represented not only by Victory tanks but also the Katyusha rocket launchers.
