- Rural Games — 2022
From May 31 to June 2, the regional competitions among rural residents of the Vitebsk region "Rural Games-2019" were held at the "Ozerki" sports complex in Postavy.
18 districts of the region took part. In total, the "Rural Games" gathered approximately 500 participants. This is the largest sports event in recent years.
As part of the implementation of the "Postavy - Healthy City" project, the "Belarus against Tobacco" campaign was held for the participants of the "Rural Games 2019" jointly by the Belarusian Red Cross Society and the District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology. During the campaign, everyone could get information about the dangers of smoking, as well as informational and educational materials on current topics of a healthy lifestyle. The "I exchange a cigarette for a candy" campaign was also held. A portable stand with information on a healthy lifestyle was equipped.
Everyone could measure their blood pressure, find out their body mass index and their weight. During the games, the weather was hot, and therefore bottled drinking water was distributed to everyone.
This event brought a lot of positive emotions and impressions!
