Issues of economy, industrial development (excluding organizations of the fuel and energy complex), mobilization training and mobilization of the economy, organization of rationed supply to the population, quality and competitiveness of industrial products, fiscal and monetary policy, property relations (including management, disposal, privatization, valuation and accounting of property owned by the Republic of Belarus and communal property), forecasting of socio-economic development of the district, small and medium-sized urban settlements, customs affairs, consumer cooperation, statistics and analysis, entrepreneurship, innovation and implementation of state policy in the field of investments, labor, wages, trade and services, stabilization funds for goods, insurance activities, state signs and securities, precious metals, digital development, foreign economic and regional relations, intellectual property, consumer protection, labor protection and safety.

Provision, selection and placement of personnel, adaptation and retention of young specialists and young workers in organizations of supervised industries.

Material and technical support for organizations in supervised industries.

Monitoring the implementation of administrative procedures based on applications from interested parties in the supervised area of activity.

Review and monitoring of appeals from citizens and legal entities on issues within the competence.

Monitoring the implementation of Presidential Directives of the Republic of Belarus dated June 14, 2007, No. 3 "On priority areas for strengthening the economic security of the state" and dated December 31, 2010, No. 4 "On the development of entrepreneurial initiative and stimulation of business activity in the Republic of Belarus".
