As part of the "For Safety Together" campaign, employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations conducted preventive work with the population. The focus was on the households of single and lonely elderly citizens.

The attention of the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees was drawn to the fact that with the onset of the autumn-winter period, a frequent cause of fires is the violation of fire safety rules when operating stove heating. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare for the heating season in a timely manner.

Special attention was paid to electrical wiring in households, as overloading electrical networks is also one of the causes of fires. They reminded about how to protect one's household from fires, the importance of clearing the territory of dry vegetation and fallen leaves, and the benefits and importance of installing a fire alarm in a living space.

Thanks to the activation of inspection commissions, the population once again recalled fire safety rules.
