The XXXIII Minsk International Book Fair will be held from March 17 to 22

 

One of the central themes of this year's fair will be the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The exhibition will feature about 500 exhibitors from 23 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iran, DPRK, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, UAE, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan.

 

In addition, the Year of the Belarusian Woman will also be a theme.

 

"We are actively preparing for the exhibition-fair, working with our exhibitors, guests, and writers. We hope that this exhibition will truly become a significant event for the book world of our country, as well as for Minsk and Belarus as a whole," - said Deputy Minister of Information Denis Ezierski.

According to him, last year the exhibition was visited by more than 76 thousand people, and 21 countries participated.
