Elections to Local Councils of Deputies of the Republic of Belarus of the Twenty-Seventh Convocation

- The nomination of candidates for deputies of local Councils of Deputies began on January 12, 2014, and will last until February 10, 2014, inclusive. The nomination of candidates for deputies can be carried out by political parties, labor collectives, and citizens by collecting signatures.

The submission of documents required for the registration of a candidate for deputy of a local Council of Deputies to the relevant territorial, district election commission must be made no later than February 10, 2014, inclusive, by the person nominated as a candidate for deputy. The verification of the compliance of the nomination procedure for candidates for deputies of local Councils of Deputies with the requirements of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus is carried out from the date of submission of documents for registration as a candidate for deputy until the date of registration by territorial and district election commissions. The registration of candidates for deputies of local Councils of Deputies is carried out from February 11 to February 20, 2014, inclusive, by the relevant territorial district election commissions.

The registration of minutes of meetings of the governing bodies of regional, district organizational structures of political parties, other public associations, meetings of their primary organizations, meetings of labor collectives or their structural subdivisions, statements signed by citizens on the nomination of representatives to the precinct election commissions for the election of deputies of local Councils of Deputies of the twenty-seventh convocation, is carried out by the head of the information and document support and control over the execution of documents sector of the administration of the Postavy District Executive Committee (hereinafter – the District Executive Committee) in the building of the District Executive Committee at the address: 211875, Postavy, Lenin Square, 25, 4th floor, office No. 84.
