Entered safe holidays

Entered safe holidays

"Boys and girls, and their parents too, would you like to hear some safety stories?" - with such proposals, rescuers from the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations draw parents' attention to the problem of child injuries and playing with fire.

On the eve of safe holidays, EMERCOM employees discuss the most important thing in parents' lives - their children. About the need to be an example for their child. And under no circumstances should they leave them to their own devices.

And the venues for these discussions are very diverse: from individual home visits to families and school parent meetings, to the children's ward of the central district hospital, because caring mothers, more than anyone else, treat their child's safety with trepidation and try in every possible way to protect them from negative consequences.

But what is the price of a moment? When just one minute is enough for irreversible consequences. Throughout the country, there are many examples when the piercing words are barely audible from parents' lips: "I didn't watch closely enough..." But we are surrounded by so many dangers. But thanks to the EMERCOM interactive game "Protect from Danger," parents begin to understand that literally in every room, seemingly at first glance, of a "Safe Home," there is a threat to their child.

As sad practice shows, a child's carefree mischief subsequently escalates into injury. And what parent would not want to see their little one strong and healthy? For this, you don't need to be a superhero, but at least a responsible parent. And by talking with rescuers and correctly answering questions, legal representatives were able to proudly call themselves "Super Mom" or "Super Dad." And visually illustrative materials will reinforce the acquired knowledge in memory.

The most anticipated holiday in the life of any schoolchild - "Children's Protection Day" - also did not go unnoticed, where rescuers were able to test the knowledge of fire safety, agility, and energy of the main culprits of the celebration. Children enthusiastically set off on the "EMERCOM-Land" map in search of safe holidays, and looking ahead, we can confidently say that the journey was a success. Participants answered quiz questions, tried on firefighter uniforms, tested their agility, and also competed in tug-of-war. Thanks to joint efforts and teamwork, the mini-journey turned out to be not only exciting but also useful.

Thanks to a shared understanding between the employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations and parents, we will be able to protect children from many dangers.
