Within what timeframe can an appeal be submitted by a citizen and a legal entity? Are there any time limits?

According to Article 11 "Terms for Submitting Appeals" of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated July 18, 2011, No. 300-Z

"On Appeals of Citizens and Legal Entities" (hereinafter – the Law)

1. The submission of applications and proposals by applicants is not limited by time.

2. Complaints may be submitted by applicants within three years from the day they became aware or should have become aware of the violation of their rights, freedoms, and (or) legitimate interests.

In case the term specified in the first part of this paragraph is missed for a valid reason (serious illness, disability, long-term business trip, etc.), the existence of which is confirmed by relevant documents submitted by the applicant, this term shall be reinstated by decision of the head of the organization or individual entrepreneur, and the complaint shall be considered in the manner established by this Law.
