Attention! The State Automobile Inspectorate is conducting preventive measures!

The State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) department of the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs will hold a preventive campaign "No place for a drunk driver!" from March 4 to March 9, 2022. The campaign aims to prevent and suppress cases of driving under the influence of alcohol or substances caused by the consumption of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues, toxic or other intoxicating substances.

Also, starting from March 1, 2022, raid activities are being conducted to identify vehicles participating in road traffic with tinted windows, the light transmission of which does not comply with the requirements of the Traffic Rules (subparagraph 2.4 of paragraph 2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated November 28, 2005, No. 551, subparagraph 194.12 of paragraph 194 of the Traffic Rules), as well as those with additional objects or coatings, including film, installed on the windows and/or in the window openings that are not provided for by the design (paragraph 37 of Appendix 4 to the Traffic Rules).

Unfortunately, it is still not possible to eradicate drunk driving. Despite the propaganda on safe behavior of road users conducted by State Automobile Inspectorate employees, there are still many citizens who do not mind driving a car or motorcycle while intoxicated.
