Vitebsk customs officers, customs class students, and RUE "Beltamozhservice" honored the memory of internationalist soldiers
Employees of the Vitebsk Customs together with students of the customs 5 "V" class of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 12 of Vitebsk named after L.N. Filipenko" and employees of the Vitebsk branch of RUE "Beltamozhservice" visited the Vitebsk City Museum of Internationalist Soldiers. The event was dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers and the 30th anniversary of the museum.
Participants familiarized themselves with the museum's exhibition — photographs, letters, archival documents, and personal belongings of veterans who served in Afghanistan. The Afghan War (1979–1989) left a significant mark on the history of our country, affecting the lives of more than 30 thousand Belarusians.
An excursion was organized for schoolchildren, an educational talk about the importance of preserving historical memory, and a thematic quest prepared by museum staff. In conclusion, customs officers and schoolchildren laid flowers at the monument to internationalist soldiers "Pain," paying tribute to those who fulfilled their duty.
