The Postavy Central District Hospital operates an inter-district Early Intervention Center

Its specialists help to timely identify and correct developmental disorders in children from birth to three years of age.

The main goal of the center is to help the child undergo habilitation. This is not just treatment, but the formation of missing skills in the child: crawling, speech, communication. Working at the earliest stage allows for the most effective prevention of possible health problems in the future. Families are assisted by a multidisciplinary team of specialists: a defectologist, a psychologist, and a pediatrician.
