The republican campaign "Safe New Year!" starts in Postavy district.

Ah, New Year! All December we are in a state of anticipation of a miracle, expecting original gifts, a charge of positive emotions and that unique atmosphere that can only be felt again a year later. At the same time, the pre-New Year period is accompanied by a sharp increase in the number of fires and injuries as a result of violating fire safety rules when preparing for holidays, careless handling of pyrotechnic products. Preventing emergencies with similar consequences is the goal of the republican campaign "Safe New Year!".

The campaign will take place in 3 stages.

The first stage runs from December 14 to 17, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will conduct preventive measures with elderly people at the territorial centers of social services, homes for veterans and disabled people, as well as sanatoriums where this category of the population rests. Rescuers will offer a versatile format of events at this stage - thematic contests and quizzes, interactive conversations, win-win lotteries, and impromptu theater performances.

From December 20 to 24, during the second stage, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will conduct preventive measures with school students at general education institutions, out-of-school work institutions, boarding schools, with parents and their children in families where children are in socially dangerous situations, in orphanages and in family-type homes. On these days, Firefighter Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, life-size puppets of the heroes of "Magic Book" will come to the children and, together with rescuers, will conduct a quiz "Who wants to be a safety genius?", conversations on the basics of life safety, thematic contests and quizzes, win-win lotteries, demonstrate videos and video clips on life safety topics.

In the third stage, from December 27 to 31, Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, fairy tale characters (life-size figures) visit places where pyrotechnic products are sold, children's healthcare institutions, ice rinks and places with mass gatherings of people. Greetings from rescuers and a call to observe fire safety rules will be heard at the training grounds of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Throughout the campaign, thematic New Year greetings via phone or video communication - "Santa Claus-Rescuer is in touch with you" will spread to different parts of the region. A New Year's quest will be held at the safety centers. Listen to thematic radio programs with prize draws on the radio waves. And these are not all the surprises that rescuers have prepared.
