In the Postavy district, the memory of the burned village of Altsy was honored

On March 22, the day of the Khatyn tragedy, all of Belarus remembers thousands of villages burned along with their inhabitants during the Great Patriotic War. In the Postavy district, the memory of the burned village of Altsy was honored.

On this spring day, representatives of government bodies, labor collectives, military units, public organizations, and schoolchildren gathered at the monument on the site of the former village of Altsy, destroyed by Nazi invaders along with its inhabitants.
