In the Postavy district, a man was rescued by the public during a fire

On January 1, at 16:28, rescuers received a report of a house fire on Molodezhnaya Street in the village of Volki, Postavy District.

Upon arrival of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations units, smoke was observed coming from the window of a first-floor apartment in a two-story building. Before the arrival of rescuers, the owner's brother rescued a man, born in 1971, who was hospitalized after being examined by medics.

The fire was extinguished by rescuers; the walls in the room were blackened by smoke, and property was damaged.

An investigation is underway into this incident, and the cause of the fire is being established.
