In Postavy, schoolchildren were told about the dangers of smoking and its consequences
As part of the second stage of the "Don't Burn Your Life Away" campaign, a preventive discussion about the dangers of smoking and its consequences was held in an unusual format for high school students. Making this harmful habit unfashionable became a task not only for educators but also for employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations.
Playing can be not only fun but also useful. Thanks to the interactive game "NoSmoking Quiz," participants learned a lot about fire safety and actions to take in case of a fire. A significant portion of attention was given to the culprit of the event – the cigarette. After all, teenagers are most susceptible to adopting new bad habits into their lives. Adolescence, stress, and bad company can play a cruel trick in the future, so the best way to prevent a fire from an unextinguished cigarette is to stop smoking at an early stage.
During the discussion, everyone highlighted the true harm of smoking and the potential consequences of an unextinguished cigarette, and also reminded their parents at home about precautions when smoking.
