The republican campaign "For Safety Together!" starts in Postavy.

The
national campaign

From October 18 to 29, 2021, Postavy will host events to prevent fires and deaths from them in residential areas as part of the national campaign "For Safety Together!". In addition to rescuers, the campaign will involve representatives of internal affairs bodies, healthcare, social services, mass media, housing and communal services, and energy services.

The campaign aims to reduce the number of fires caused by non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations to provide services in the field of fire safety, strengthen law and order, prevent offenses committed by citizens in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The campaign events are aimed at increasing the level of public safety, intensifying fire prevention work, analyzing its effectiveness, and assessing the readiness of territories and citizens' households for the autumn-winter period.

MCHS employees will visit lonely and single elderly citizens and disabled people, families with children in socially dangerous situations, as well as individuals leading an antisocial lifestyle, at their places of residence, providing explanations and recommendations to improve fire safety in homes. Joint raids, information exchange, and meetings with labor collectives are planned during the campaign.
