DEAR OWNERS OF HUNTING AND GAS WEAPONS!

On January 20, 2017, Presidential Decree of the Republic of Belarus No. 21 "On Amending the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Belarus" was adopted, which adjusted Presidential Decree of the Republic of Belarus No. 200 of April 26, 2010 "On Administrative Procedures Carried Out by State Bodies and Other Organizations Based on Applications from Citizens". According to this decree, for the administrative procedure of extending the validity period of a permit for storing and carrying civilian weapons, citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens, and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Belarus must provide a medical certificate of health.

This norm comes into force on April 26, 2017, and was introduced to timely identify and take measures to revoke permits and seize weapons from owners in case of diseases and physical disabilities that are contraindications to owning them.

The fee for extending the validity period of a permit for storing and carrying civilian weapons is one basic unit per weapon.
