Dear citizens!
From June 11 to 13, 2021, cultural events dedicated to the XXXI International Festival of Folk Music "Zvinjats Tsymbaly i Garmonik" will be held in Postavy.
On these days, traffic will be restricted through Lenin Square in Postavy from 08:00 on June 12, 2021, to 15:00 on June 13, 2021. Traffic will also be temporarily suspended from 11:50 to 12:20 on June 13, 2021, through Komsomolskaya Square in Postavy.
The State Automobile Inspectorate of Postavy District asks all road users to review their routes in advance, taking into account the above-mentioned temporary restrictions on movement in the specified areas of the city.
Citizens will be admitted to the event venues through checkpoints, after visual inspection of their physical condition and technical inspection for prohibited items.
The police ask for understanding regarding enhanced security measures during the events and remind that the following are strictly prohibited at the venues:
- carrying cold weapons, firearms, gas weapons (including gas canisters), or other weapons, explosives and ammunition, their parts and mechanisms, pyrotechnic devices, as well as specially manufactured or adapted items, the use of which may pose a threat to human life and health;
- carrying imitations and replicas of these items (including keychains, children's toys imitating firearms, ammunition, explosives, and explosive devices);
- bringing alcoholic and other beverages in glass, metal containers, in tetra-packs with a capacity of more than 0.25 liters, and dark plastic bottles, as well as in containers with a volume of more than 0.5 liters;
In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, persons in a state of alcoholic intoxication, and persons refusing to undergo a personal search, are not allowed into mass event venues.
To avoid delays and crowds at checkpoints, please bring only essential items, as persons carrying bulky bags, packages, bicycles, and pets are also not allowed into mass event venues.
The Internal Affairs Department of the Postavy District Executive Committee appeals to you to increase vigilance when in places of festive events and mass gatherings of people.
