Brief description of the Yunkovsky Rural Council
The Yunkovsky Rural Council was formed on October 12, 1940. The administrative center is the agro-town of Yunki.
The area of the rural council is 20931 hectares. It borders with Postavy, Novoselkovsky, Kamaysky, Kuropolsky rural councils.
The total population is 1162 people, of whom 666 are of working age, 321 are pensioners, and 176 are children.
There are 53 settlements on the territory of the rural council, the largest of which are ag. Yunki, d. Shirki, d. Gruzdovo.
In the field of agricultural production, the open joint-stock company "Znamya Pobedy Agro" and the farms "Zheludyak", "Ranitsa", "Savichanka", "Gorshiny", "Ryzhij Molochnik" operate. The Gruzdovo forestry operates, and 6 agro-estates provide agro-tourism services.
In the social sphere, the following operate:

There are active Orthodox parishes of the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Gruzdovo village, the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Mankovichi village, and the Catholic parish of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Gruzdovo village.
