The Department of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Postavy District Executive Committee (hereinafter – the Department) is a territorial body of state administration that ensures the implementation of state policy on issues of employment promotion and social protection, remuneration and labor protection, pension provision, demographic security, social partnership, state social services and social support for the population, improving the socio-economic conditions of family life, ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities for men and women, and social guarantees for the population in the Postavy District.

In accordance with its assigned tasks and within its competence, the Department analyzes the state of remuneration systems, working conditions and labor protection, labor relations, pension provision, social protection of single elderly citizens, war and labor veterans, disabled people, internationalist soldiers, members of their families; citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster, and other categories of citizens in need of social support, coordinates and monitors the timely payment of wages, as well as benefits to families raising children.

It organizes work to improve working conditions and labor protection, compliance with requirements for ensuring safe working conditions, develops a district program on these issues, and monitors its implementation; provides organizational and methodological assistance to employers on the application of pension legislation and conducts explanatory work among the district population on pension legislation, considers citizens' appeals in accordance with the law, and organizes their receptions.

Lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Days off: Saturday, Sunday

Schedule for receiving interested parties for administrative procedures in the department: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday – from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM;

Thursday – from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM;

on Saturday: from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on-duty specialists of the department are available according to the schedule (office No. 26, tel. 3 15 43)

days off – Saturday, Sunday.
