The republican campaign "Don't leave children alone!" is starting.
Statistics on child injuries cannot leave any adult indifferent: more than 100 children die annually from external causes. Poisoning, road accidents, swallowing foreign objects, falling from windows, fires – this is not a complete list of situations that can lead to tragedy.
This mainly happens due to adults ignoring the basic truth – not to leave a child unattended. Therefore, each time, relying on luck, parents unwittingly play a lottery, from which not everyone manages to emerge victorious…
To draw attention to the problems of children playing with fire and child deaths in fires, reduce the number of emergencies involving children, and ensure their overall safety (at home, on the street, during recreation, near water bodies, etc.), the republican campaign "Do not leave children alone!" will be held from May 10 to June 1, timed to coincide with International Family Day and Children's Day. As part of the campaign, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees will give parents 1000 and 1 reasons why children should not be left alone at home, and will tell them how not to become victims of their own mistakes.
The events will take place in two stages. As part of the first stage, a large-scale program awaits visitors to shopping and entertainment centers, cinemas, and other public places where parents relax with their children. Interactive platforms with contests, quizzes, and games will be organized there, and participants will receive souvenir, educational, and visual products.
Family is the foundation for any endeavor. It is where the basics are laid, including the culture of life safety. Since Ministry of Emergency Situations propagandists also have a "reliable rear" and know better than anyone how important it is to remember safety, on the eve of International Family Day (May 15), they will personally present their view on family values by preparing thematic videos or music clips.
The events of the second stage will take place from May 23 to June 1. The focus of the propagandists will be future and young parents. Traditionally, the emphasis will be on mothers, as they spend most of their time with children. For example, in the interactive session "Chief Expert", they will turn into experts for 30 minutes and identify and mark places that pose a danger to preschoolers. In "Believe it or not", mothers will demonstrate their knowledge in the field of safety by confirming or refuting the statements made by propaganda inspectors.
The final events will be held in open areas in amusement and recreation parks, near cultural centers, cinemas, shopping and entertainment centers, etc. – wherever parents with children are most often found – propagandists will hold bright and large-scale events.
