Special complex event "Teenager"

Based on the results of work for 5 months of 2025, an increase in the number of crimes committed by minors or with their complicity is observed in the Postavy district. According to completed criminal cases, teenagers were charged with committing 4 crimes; in the same period last year, no crimes committed by minors were registered.

In order to enhance preventive measures towards minors prone to committing unlawful acts, conduct a large-scale information and prevention campaign, eliminate or minimize the causes and conditions contributing to the emergence of negative phenomena among adolescents, the Department of Internal Affairs of the Postavy District Executive Committee will conduct the main stage of the special comprehensive event "Adolescent" in the Postavy district from June 25 to June 28, 2025.

In this regard, the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Postavy District Executive Committee asks parents of minors, especially parents of children with whom JAI employees conduct individual preventive work, as well as those registered with various types of records, to pay special attention to their children's leisure time, in order to prevent them from committing administrative offenses and, often, criminally punishable acts. Special attention should be paid to the safe pastime of adolescents on the Internet, children's observance of safety measures on water bodies, forest park areas, near railway facilities, traffic rules, and preventing children from being near potentially dangerous objects (quarries, abandoned buildings, structures).
