Lukashenko, Mirziyoyev hold telephone conversation

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 24 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The Belarusian head of state wished happy birthday to his Uzbekistan counterpart. 

Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the status of the agreements reached during the visit of the Belarusian president to Tashkent in February of this year. It was noted that effective work is underway in a number of areas. 

In January-May, Belarus-Uzbekistan trade reached almost $245 million, up by 5.3% year-on-year. The parties continue to cooperate, and have also launched a number of new joint projects.
