Lukashenko makes new appointments

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko made a number of personnel decisions on 10 February, BelTA has learned.

The head of state appointed:

Pavel Muraveiko First Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus;

Andrei Ivanets Education Minister;

Igor Brylo Agriculture and Food Minister;

Vladimir Ulakhovich Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary with concurrent accreditation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia;

Anatoly Lis Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia;

Vladimir Borovikov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam;

Larisa Belskaya Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva (Switzerland);

The president also approved the appointment of: 

Oleg Zhidkov - Chairman of the Belarusian State Food Industry Concern Belgospishcheprom; 

Sergei Aleinik - First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; 

Yuri Ambrazevich - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; 

Igor Nazaruk - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; 

Oleg Kot - Deputy Justice Minister; 

Yuri Tarakanov - Director of the Reorganization and Bankruptcy Department at the Economy Ministry; 

Vitaly Yakubchik - General Director of the Management Company of the Lidselmash Holding Company; 

Aleksandr Osenko - General Director of the Stolichnoye Televideniye STV TV channel; 

Elena Kurakina - Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music; 

Nadezhda Lazarevich - Deputy Chairwoman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
