Vitebsk to host guitar poetry festival in October

VITEBSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Songwriters and music bands from Belarus, Latvia and Russia will take part in the concerts of the 28th guitar poetry festival, Vitebsk Leaf Fall, which is due in the oblast center on 17-19 October, BelTA learnt from the Vitebsk Culture Center.

“Guitarists-songwriters will gather in Vitebsk to fill the city with warm memories and live music. Authors and singers, duets and ensembles will perform in the Vitebsk concert hall and the Culture Center during this three-day feast of music,” the organizers said.

The program of the festival will include guitar poetry competitions in the following nominations: an author, a singer, a duet and an ensemble. 

The competition among singers will take place on 18 October. The award ceremony and a gala concert will be held on 19 October.
