Kochanova: 10th Forum of Regions will break all records
This year's forum will break absolutely all records, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova said as she met with heads of local governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus during the 10th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Ufa, BelTA has learned.
"We are sure that the 10th Forum will break absolutely all records: 86 agreements have already been signed and contracts worth RUB 110 billion have been concluded," Natalya Kochanova said.
According to her, the forum is widely credited not only for business and investment activity at regional level, but also for unlocking the human and economic potential on the ground. “We have seen how multifaceted the Russian Federation is and what enormous resources we have in our interaction. Much indeed is being done in order to strengthen the economic and technological sovereignty of Belarus and Russia, to raise the status of the Union State in the international arena. At the same time, there are issues that we need to discuss,” Natalya Kochanova stressed. “We must realize clearly that much depends on the heads of the regions. While working on the ground, with people, you see and feel more about the issues and tasks that need to be addressed."

I wish promising opportunities and further development to every city, every district, region of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. I wish prosperity to us all and our countries,” Natalya Kochanova added.
