First Baldinini store in Belarus to open in Vitebsk

VITEBSK, 19 March (BelTA) – The first Baldinini shoe store may open in Vitebsk this year, BelTA learnt from Marko Director General Nikolai Martynov. According to him, the Belarusian footwear manufacturer Marko and Italian Baldinini have agreed to open a monobrand store in Belarus. The Baldinini distribution network operates in the CIS and Eastern Europe. The first Baldinini store in Belarus is expected to open by Christmas holidays. The store will be placed in the business-center which is being constructed now by the Marko Company not far away from the Vitebsk Summer Amphitheater. The store will occupy 300-400 square meters to present Baldinini footwear and accessories. Baldinini was founded in the Italian town San Mauro Pascoli in 1910. It offers high-quality leather footwear at medium and top prices for men and women as well as leather accessories. Baldinini products boast an exquisite design and are believed to be some of the most prestigious footwear in Europe and the world. The company’s turnover averages close to ?50 million per annum. The company employs over 300 people and exports 80% of the make. It has a monobrand distribution chain in the CIS states and Eastern Europe.
