Belarus to start issuing COVID-19 vaccination certificates

Vaccination certificates will be issued to Belarusians who got vaccinated against COVID-19, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

International regulations and requirements concerning COVID-19 vaccination are still in the works. Once they are ready, Belarusians might need a vaccination certificate to go abroad. Certificates will be issued on request of people who plan trips to other countries.

“Belarusians who plan to go abroad in the course of the year will be able to apply for certificates to the healthcare facility where they got their jabs. Certificates will be issued on a paid basis. The document will confirm that a person got two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine,” the Healthcare Ministry noted.

The certificate will also include the name of a healthcare facility, the date of birth of a person who received the COVID-19 vaccine, and the name of the vaccine. The certificate will be in two languages: Russian and English.
