VITEBSK, 16 July (BelTA) – Maria from Romania won the Grand Prix of the 7th international junior song contest Vitebsk 2009, BelTA has learnt.
Apart from a special prize and diploma, the winner gets $5,000.
The first prize ($3,000) and a diploma were presented to Andranik Aleksanyan (Ukraine). The second prize ($2,000) went to Maria Novik (Belarus). The third prize was shared by Kamile (Lithuania) and Anel Karshygaeva (Kazakhstan).

VITEBSK, 16 July (BelTA) – The 18th international festival of arts Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk is coming to an end. A solemn closing ceremony of the festival will be held in the late evening on July 16.
