The speaker's working visit is conducted in accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Belarus following the meeting in Vitebsk on measures to ensure the sustainable development of the northern region. After this meeting, a working group was formed in the Belarusian parliament to promote the socio-economic development of the Vitebsk region. It is headed by Natalya Kochanova and Igor Sergeenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus.

— We need to provide the President of our country with objective information quarterly on how the Vitebsk region lives and develops. Previously, I visited districts of the Vitebsk region, where I focused more on the development of the agro-industrial complex. There was an instruction from the head of state to put agricultural facilities in order by November 7. We also paid attention to the maintenance of young animals, calves.
