From October 9 to 13, 2023, the main stage of the special comprehensive event "Arsenal" will take place.

The main stage of the special comprehensive event "Arsenal" will be held in the Republic of Belarus from October 9 to 13, 2023.

Possession of unregistered weapons, ammunition for rifled weapons, explosive objects and substances entails criminal liability in accordance with Article 295 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. However, a person who voluntarily surrenders weapons, ammunition, explosive substances and objects is exempt from criminal liability in accordance with the note to Article 295 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The current version of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus also provides for exemption from administrative liability for a person who voluntarily surrenders smoothbore weapons or ammunition for them. According to Article 24.46 of the Code, this offense is punishable by an administrative fine ranging from 10 to 30 basic units with confiscation of the object of the administrative offense.

During the "Arsenal" special comprehensive event, employees of the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs will focus their efforts on identifying cases of illegal storage of weapons and ammunition by citizens, as well as on checking the conditions of weapon storage by owners at their place of residence.
