During the monitoring of crimes and offenses, it was found that the increase in the negative dynamics of offenses and crimes was primarily due to a significant increase in the number of offenses and crimes committed in the sphere of family and domestic relations, and alcohol abuse. It should be noted that the most negative state of "drunk" and domestic crime is observed in rural areas.

Thus, during the analysis for Postavy city and Postavy district for 9 months of 2022, 268 people were brought to administrative responsibility for being in a state of alcoholic intoxication in a public place under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus. For committing violent acts in the sphere of family and domestic relations, 51 people were brought to responsibility under Part 2 of Article 10.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus. 5 criminal cases of a preventive nature were initiated under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (threat of murder).
