From November 16 to 20, 2021, a set of additional measures is being carried out in the Postavy district to reduce the negative impact of drunkenness and alcoholism on the operational situation.

The objectives of this event are to improve the forms and methods of activity of crime prevention entities in applying preventive measures to citizens who have committed unlawful acts while intoxicated; to involve other interested parties who provide assistance and support to state bodies in solving the problems of alcoholization of the population, in the targeted work carried out on the differentiated application of preventive and legal measures; to minimize the causes and conditions contributing to the alcoholization of the population.

During the events, measures will be taken to organize work on the prevention of offenses committed while intoxicated, in order to minimize factors negatively affecting the state of crime and public order.

Planned activities include visiting citizens who have committed offenses while intoxicated at their place of residence, including those committed against a family member; participating in meetings of councils of public law enforcement points for citizens who abuse alcoholic beverages; conducting events with individuals for whom there are grounds for preparing materials for isolation in a medical-labor dispensary.
