From April 14 to 17, the State Automobile Inspectorate is taking additional measures to prevent road accidents involving motorcycles.
With the onset of favorable weather, drivers of two-wheeled vehicles: motorcyclists, moped and scooter drivers, have become more frequent on the city streets. Practice shows that with an increase in the number of such vehicles on the roads, the number of road accidents involving them also increases.
During preventive measures aimed at preventing and suppressing violations of traffic rules by this category of drivers, traffic police officers organize raids during which they will intensify efforts to suppress serious traffic violations and hooligan actions by drivers of two-wheeled motor vehicles. Law enforcement officers will pay special attention to the physical condition of drivers and the presence of a driver's license of the appropriate category, as well as compliance with speed limits and maneuvering rules.
