From February 11 to 28, the Postavy State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a special set of measures «Pedestrian»

From February 11 to 28, employees of the Postavy State Automobile Inspectorate will pay close attention to pedestrians during the special complex of measures "Pedestrian", aimed at preventing road accidents involving and caused by pedestrians.

Daily, the personnel of the State Automobile Inspectorate will supervise compliance with the rules for crossing the roadway and ensure that citizens do not walk on the road without reflective elements. Special attention will be paid to those sections of the road network where there is the highest risk of hitting pedestrians and cyclists.

Inspectors will also conduct preventive talks in educational institutions and thematic presentations in labor collectives, during which they will discuss the causes of road accidents involving pedestrians, the main threats and seasonal factors, the rules for using reflective elements, and remind them of responsibility for violating traffic rules.
