From February 1 to 23, the republican campaign "Safety – to every home!" will be held in the Postavy district.

Statistics show that fires are most often the result of citizens' ignorance or neglect of fire safety rules. The past year has shown that careless handling of fire, violation of the rules for the installation and operation of stove heating, and violation of safety rules during the operation of electrical equipment continue to be the leading causes of fires. It should be understood that it is not always possible to avoid casualties.

To once again draw people's attention to the problem of fires and deaths from them, rescuers will hold a series of preventive measures during the campaign.

The campaign will be held in 2 stages.

The first stage involves working with large families and families where children are in a socially dangerous situation, and will be held from February 1 to February 14. During this stage, visits to the households of the above categories are planned, with preventive and instructional conversations with parents, and interactive sessions with all family members on observing safety rules in everyday life, when operating stove heating and electrical equipment, and on the danger of leaving children unattended.

From February 15 to February 23, the second stage of the campaign will take place, covering retail outlets, dormitories of enterprises and organizations, and places with mass gatherings of people. Interactive platforms and information centers are planned here, where everyone can get qualified advice on home safety, fill out a safety checklist, receive visual and illustrative products, etc. For dormitory residents, master classes on the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment and first aid will be organized. Everyone will be able to participate in life safety quizzes and win invitations to the Ministry of Emergency Situations safety center.

The final events will be held in cultural centers, educational institutions, Ministry of Emergency Situations safety centers, and image-building facilities. Participants of the campaign will be able to test their skills in the "Family Starts" sports festival, charity marathons "Indifferent Heart", "Elements have no heart, but the Ministry of Emergency Situations has a big heart", festivals "When the family is together, the soul is at peace" and "Together a friendly and safe family", "Large family - seven I's" or "Safe home - big family".
