Republican preventive action "Home without violence!"

Contrary to popular belief, domestic violence is not only about beatings, but also any infliction of psychological or physical harm to a close person with whom the abuser lives under the same roof. For example, if he swears, breaks dishes, does not react to requests to calm down, and drives you to hysterics, this is qualified as causing psychological suffering.

To reduce such unlawful behavior and prevent more serious crimes that it often leads to, the main stage of the republican preventive action "A Home Without Violence!" is regularly held in Belarus. This time it runs from April 8 to 17. All prevention entities are involved in the action, and various events are held — from interdepartmental meetings to joint visits to registered individuals.
