The republican campaign "Safety in every home" starts in Postavy region

It is often said that a fire is an accident from which no one is immune. But this is not true. In most cases, a fire is the result of carelessness and negligence in observing fire safety rules. The main causes of domestic fires are, first of all, careless handling of fire (including smoking), faulty electrical equipment, and violation of fire safety rules when operating stoves and household electric heaters. Statistics show that more than half of fire emergencies occur due to people who did not know or were irresponsible in following fire safety rules. However, it is not uncommon for "random" citizens to become victims of fire: they become hostages of a situation into which they are led by people leading an antisocial lifestyle, including those who consume alcoholic beverages.

To once again draw the attention of residents to this topic, as well as the problem of deaths in fires, from January 24 to February 11, rescuers will hold the republican campaign "Safety to Every Home!" in the region.

The campaign will be held in 3 stages. In the first stage, from January 24 to 28, the focus will be on those who abuse alcohol and lead an antisocial lifestyle. "A Sober Look at Safety" - this is the motto under which rescuers, representatives of the Red Cross, the Department of Internal Affairs, clergy, veterans of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and volunteers will unite their efforts in fire prevention.

In the second stage, from January 31 to February 9, the attention of rescuers will shift to elderly citizens with an active lifestyle and residents of rural settlements and student youth. For elderly citizens, the event "Skarbonka Byaspeki" is planned, which will be held at rural cultural centers. Interactive platforms will operate, games and quests will be held. Rescuers have prepared many interesting thematic events, including interactive games "Field of Wonders with the Ministry of Emergency Situations", "Name the Price", "Secret of Safety" and a disco "For those over...". For the younger generation, youth formats of meetings have been prepared: Talk show "Dialogue", Game "Musical Battle for Safety", Quiz "Where is the Logic?", Game-competition "Detective Agency of the Ministry of Emergency Situations", Interactive lesson on the causes of emergencies "Safety Formula".

From February 10 to 11, the third stage of the campaign will take place. Traditionally, rescuers will deploy interactive platforms in places of mass gatherings: shopping centers, open areas, markets.

Along with the start of the campaign, the "Our Safe Home" competition also begins, aimed at bringing homes and apartments into a fire-safe condition, reducing the number of fires, and improving fire safety literacy. Anyone can take part in it, regardless of whether they live in a house or an apartment. The competition is held in the nomination "This is a safe home - order has been restored in it!". Participants will need to present their project (in the form of photos or a video) on ensuring safety in their home (apartment).
