Recommendations from rescuers during recreation

The weather in the region continues to delight us with sunshine and summer warmth.

To avoid accidental forest fires, the following safety measures should be observed:

- do not throw burning matches or unextinguished cigarette butts on the ground;

- do not make bonfires during fire-hazardous periods;

- do not burn garbage in the forest;

- do not leave garbage in the forest, especially wiping material soaked in oil, gasoline, or other flammable material;

- do not leave glass bottles or broken glass in the forest.

Bonfires should only be lit in specially designated areas. If there are no such areas, you must independently prepare a site for lighting a bonfire by clearing it of grass, leaves, and branches down to the soil. Before leaving the campsite, the bonfire must be completely extinguished. You should only leave the resting place after making sure that no log or branch is still smoldering.

A fire, especially a natural one, is always easier to prevent than to extinguish. Dear citizens, please note: our safety depends not only on the activities of government agencies but also on the behavior of each of us. Do not violate fire safety requirements.

In case of an emergency, call 101 or 112!
