Recommendations for the public during very strong heat:

The long-awaited summer has arrived, bringing with it hot days. But how can you spend time in intense heat without harming yourself? The Ministry of Emergency Situations provides its recommendations:

Try to stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible. If this is unavoidable, protect your head with hats and umbrellas.
From 12:00 to 16:00, the sun is most active; during this time, it is advisable to protect all parts of your body from direct sunlight – use closed clothing and sunscreen.

Do not consume alcohol – in the heat, its effect on the body is greatly amplified, and the body becomes more sensitive to high temperatures.

Try to drink as much liquid as possible (chilled water, mineral water).

Do not buy food from street vendors – at high temperatures, bacteria multiply very quickly, which can lead to severe poisoning if food is stored improperly.

Do not use decorative cosmetics at all or minimize their use: our skin breathes and sweats intensely in the heat, thereby lowering our body temperature. Clogged pores can lead to overheating of the body.

Do not engage in active sports at temperatures above 25°C.

Try to maintain emotional calm, as any overexcitement increases the risk of heatstroke or sunstroke.

If possible, limit long car trips; if this is not possible, be as attentive as possible on the road, as during hot weather, well-being may deteriorate, attention may scatter, and reaction times may decrease.
