A ten-day campaign is being held to improve the life safety of socially vulnerable citizens
From March 16 to 26, 2020, a ten-day campaign is being held in the Postavy district to improve the safety of life for socially vulnerable categories of citizens (families raising children recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation; those abusing alcoholic beverages, including those living with citizens of retirement age; those brought to administrative responsibility for appearing in a public place while intoxicated). The purpose of this event is to improve the safety of life for citizens, prevent deaths from external causes, prevent children from being left unattended, promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage rejection of alcohol abuse, intensify preventive work, analyze its effectiveness, and further develop a set of measures for organizing preventive work by authorities and other interested parties.
During the events, measures will be taken to ensure the safety of citizens' lives and reduce the number of fires caused by non-compliance with safety rules in everyday life.
Preventive talks are planned on the inadmissibility of leaving children unattended, the criminal liability of parents for leaving young children in danger; fire prevention and deaths from fires, including those caused by careless handling of fire while intoxicated; compliance with fire safety rules in everyday life; and the dangers of alcohol.
