Joint raids were conducted

The Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations, in cooperation with the Postavy District Energy and Gas Inspectorate, conducted preventive and precautionary measures at construction sites in the Postavy District in April-May 2026.

As a result of the measures taken, 5 construction sites were visited: "Reconstruction of the existing grain drying complex with a capacity of 30 t/hour", "Reconstruction of the dairy farm in Volokhi, Postavy District, Vitebsk Region, as a raw material base for JSC "Khotily-Agro"", "Construction of a multifunctional shopping complex located at: Postavy, Yubileynaya St., 30A", "Off-site networks in the area of individual residential development, Kirova Lane - Solnechny Lane in Postavy, 1st stage of construction" and "Major overhaul of residential building No. 184B on Leninskaya St. in Postavy".

During the preventive work, the following shortcomings were identified:

At the construction site "Reconstruction of the existing grain drying complex with a capacity of 30 t/hour":

  • LLC "Agropusk": the fire protection device in mobile (inventory) building No. b/n was not operational (no power element in the autonomous fire detector), paragraph 3.2 of the "General fire safety requirements for the maintenance and operation of capital structures (buildings, facilities), isolated premises and other objects belonging to economic entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated 23.11.2017 No. 7;
  • mobile (inventory) building No. b/n was not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means according to the norms established by the Ministry for Emergency Situations (paragraph 182 of the Specific requirements for ensuring fire safety of explosive and fire hazardous productions, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 779 dated 20.11.2019 (hereinafter - specific requirements), paragraph 2 of the Instruction on the norms for equipping objects with primary fire extinguishing means, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dated 21.12.2021 No. 82 (hereinafter - Instruction on PFEM), paragraph 24 of the Appendix to the Instruction on PFEM);
  • LLC "Sienna-Garant":
    • fire breaks were not observed at the construction site between existing buildings and structures of at least 12 meters to groups of mobile (inventory) buildings and structures (paragraph 159 of the specific requirements);
    • the territory of the construction site was not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means according to the norms established by the Ministry for Emergency Situations (paragraph 182 of the specific requirements, paragraph 23 of the Instruction on PFEM).

Based on the identified violations, directives were sent to the heads of the above-mentioned entities to eliminate the violations.
