Monitoring of compliance with fire safety legislation requirements was carried out at the Educational Institution "Social and Pedagogical Center of Postavy District"

On 11.02.2026, the inspection of the Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Postavy District Department of Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of compliance with the requirements of fire safety legislation, technical regulatory legal acts of the fire safety standardization and regulation system of the state educational institution "Socio-Pedagogical Center of Postavy District" (director – N.V. Selivanova).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

- combustible materials (sports equipment (skis, etc.)) are allowed to be placed under the stairwell march, clause 50 of the General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises and Other Objects Owned by Business Entities, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 23.11.2017 No. 7.

The reasons and conditions contributing to the commission of these violations were insufficient knowledge by officials of the state educational institution "Socio-Pedagogical Center of Postavy District" of the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of fire safety, a formal attitude to the performance of their direct official duties, as well as weakened control by the management.
