Prosecutor's Office of Vitebsk Region warns

The Prosecutor's Office of Vitebsk Region warns: since the beginning of the year, over 40 children in the region have been injured while sledding down snowy hills on tubes, snow tubes, sleds, and other sports equipment, with more than 10 sustaining severe injuries, including spinal fractures!

In this regard, we warn children and their parents about the need to observe safety rules: it is unacceptable to sled in dangerous and unauthorized places (with uncleared areas, the presence of stones, trees, and other obstacles on the path, near bodies of water), mandatory use of protective gear, and the use of tubes and other sports equipment in accordance with the child's height and weight. Remember that attaching tubes to vehicles (cars, snowmobiles) is strictly prohibited! Do not leave children unattended!
