Fire in Soroki village

On 12.04.2022 at 16:24, a report was received about a fire in a barn (cellar) in Soroki village, Postavy district. As a result of the fire, the roof of the barn (cellar) was destroyed. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

The considered version of the fire's cause is careless handling of fire by the owner.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: illegal burning of dry vegetation, grass on the root, as well as stubble and post-harvest residues in fields, or failure to take measures to eliminate fires on land plots, leads to the occurrence of fires and a fine ranging from 10 to 30 basic units.
