Postavy. Rescuers inspected construction sites
On the eve of the construction season, employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations inspected construction sites for compliance with fire safety standards. The focus of the raid was on construction trailers where construction documentation is stored, builders change clothes and rest, and where they can take shelter and warm up in case of bad weather and cold.
One of the requirements was factory-made stoves, as homemade stoves have not been tested and are not as reliable as those manufactured. Autonomous fire detectors, which guarantee the possibility of waking up tomorrow, and fire extinguishers, which can determine the outcome of a fire at its onset, were also given attention.
Although the points of the prescription compiled after the first visit have been fulfilled, Senior Inspector of Supervision and Prevention Alexander Mikhailovich Irshonok once again reminded about fire safety measures and the importance of observing them both at home and at work.
