Postavy. Fire in an unoperated building

As is known, three things are necessary for combustion: a sufficient amount of oxygen, a combustible environment, and, of course, an ignition source. While residential buildings have plenty of these, the last point raises questions in unoccupied buildings.

Thus, on September 30, 2021, rescuers from Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a fire in an unoccupied building in the agricultural town of Kamai, Postavy District. Upon arrival at the scene, open burning of the building was observed. As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling, and property in the building were destroyed, and the walls were damaged.

The cause of the fire is being established. The considered version of the cause of the fire is arson by an unidentified person.
