A regional seminar for employees of the Supervision and Prevention Department was held on the territory of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations. The seminar was attended by Andrey Vladimirovich Gavrilenko, First Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as employees of the supervisory unit from both the department and the Ministry of Emergency Situations units located near Postavy.
The fundamental issues of the seminar included: conducting control (supervisory) activities at economic entities in accordance with the requirements of current legislation; entering information into the new database of the integrated automatic control (supervisory) activity system; organizing and implementing fire prevention work in citizens' residential areas; inquiry issues; law enforcement practices; issues related to preventing fires and deaths from them; as well as specific cases and problematic issues arising in the daily work of the supervisory unit.
Andrey Vladimirovich emphasized the quality of the work performed and the responsibility an inspector bears when carrying out official duties: "To improve the quality of work, it is necessary to apply principles and professionalism. Combined with self-development, this will yield new, positive results, which will subsequently reduce the number of emergencies."
