Postavy. About safety and a little bit about history

As part of the republican campaign "Children in the Spotlight!", students of "Secondary School No. 1 of Postavy" visited the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations. Within the walls of the unit, the children were first able to immerse themselves in the history of the department. They saw with their own eyes what uniforms firefighters wore in ancient times and were able to personally compare how far the variety and functionality of technical means and equipment have advanced in our modern times. However, despite the passage of time, the qualities inherent in rescuers have remained unchanged: "Professionalism, courage, honor!"

Also, the attention of the excursion participants was drawn to outstanding personalities of the department who made a huge contribution to its development, both material and spiritual. These are people who defended the honor of the department in republican creative competitions. One such person is Edita Maryanovna Kurdo, the clerk of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations, who was able to personally convey to those present the atmosphere of the country's main stage.

Next, the children were able to play the intellectual game "Where is the logic?", try on the combat clothing of rescuers, compete in agility, and explain the algorithm for calling rescuers.

At the end of the excursion, the students went through an obstacle course and were able to feel like rescuers for a short period of time. Each excursion participant received useful gifts from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
