Pasty harvest - fire is not a threat!

To ensure safety during harvest, rescuers from Postavy also contribute to the country's grain production. Employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations conduct preventive raids at sites where equipment is prepared for the harvesting campaign, in the fields during harvest, and at grain drying complexes.

In the focus of inspector Pavel Yevgenyevich Lysyonok of the supervision and prevention sector: the availability and compliance of primary fire extinguishing equipment, as well as the ability to use it if necessary, the correctness and timeliness of grain harvesting equipment maintenance, knowledge of fire safety rules and the algorithm of actions in case of an emergency, as well as the presence of accompanying equipment with water for emergency fire extinguishing at harvesting sites.

This type of control minimizes the likelihood of equipment fires and prevents the ignition of crops, to the cultivation of which considerable effort and resources have been invested.
